Stained Glass Window Mural for Theatre

Design was chosen by a public panel to be reproduced large-scale semi-permanent mural, approximately 10 feet wide by 20 feet tall, to be installed on the side of Old Town Playhouse, a performing arts venue in downtown Traverse City, Michigan.
Elements in the composition were chosen and arranged based on their symbolism and usage in several different plays and musicals.
Mural detail. What plays and musicals do you think of when you see the man, the mask, the sun, the moon, the rays, the rose?
Mural detail. Can you find the heart? What about the “heart” in the music? (Hint: You might have to go back to the full mural to see it.)
